La Terrazza Restaurant offers delightful truly Italian cuisine on the best view on Lake Como. Open every day from March to November for buffet breakfast (7:00am-10:30am), dinner à la carte (7:30pm-10:30pm) and exclusive private events during the day. Smart casual attire (jacket; no jeans).

Dinners based on fondues, BBQ (meet or fish with vegetables) and Italian wines have been completely restyled for the Centenial celebration. Alberto and his team will drive you trough a prestigious wine list with more than 200 red, white and rosé wines, result of a research among the great tradition of the Italian wines.
The fondues or barbecues experience is a real fun: "I Taglieri" as typical starters of the Italian tradition followed by a choice among four different fondues with eight different sauces and five salts, including the new fish fondue, the cheese raclette or two different mini-barbecues where you are the Chef! Try to believe! The dessert specialty: the chocolate & strawberry fondue for two, so romantic...The most appropriate and consistent Italian wine will be paired.

Osvaldo Presazzi arrived at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo Palace 14 years ago and after two years he became First Chef, to the guests' great satisfaction. During the last years he has done many stages for his professional enrichment in some prestigious restaurants of luxury Hotels: "Les Ambassadeurs" of the Hotel de Crillon in Paris, "Il Teatro" in the Hotel Four Seasons in Milan and "La Palme d'Or" of the Hotel Martinez in Cannes managed by Christian Willer, with whom he organized a promotional week about the Italian gastronomy in 1996.

Its receipt was created on the occasion of the owner 's daughter first birthday and since then it has got her name. This is Valentina cake, delicious cake with almonds and cocoa, so appreciated by the Grand Hotel Tremezzo Palace guests that it has become an authentic tradition in their... suitcases.
Of course, you can buy the delicious speciality invented by the Chef Osvaldo Presazzi as a souvenir to take home after your stay in the Hotel. It is packed in an elegant garnet red box or is served at the restaurant: this confectionery masterpiece formed by soft chocolate and sponge cake layers has become now the symbol of the Grand Hotel.
